RESERVATION CONDITIONS

Accomodation rates

Accommodation rates are quoted per night and in Euros (VAT not applicable in St. Barths), for one or two persons per room.

Additional Person Policy

Based on room capacity, additional Guests up to and including 10 years of age in the same Guest room will be free of charge and additional Guests and more than 3 children from 11 years old will be charged 180 Euros per night per person. This includes the below rate inclusions but excludes the local tax.
Management reserves the right to determine maximum occupancy per room.

  • Arrival and departure transfers with our Chauffeur from St. Barths Airport or Harbor
  • Daily seaside Buffet breakfast in our restaurant Aux Amis, or in-room French touch “Petit-Déjeuner”
  • First set of Mini bar refreshments
  • High-speed WiFi throughout the property
  • Dedicated beach lounge chairs
  • Watersport equipment
  • 24-hour access to Le Fitness
  • Access to Le Spa: Hammam, Sauna, Vitality pools and Tea salon

Accommodation Rate Exclusions

Other services and amenities than the ones listed above will be invoiced directly to the Guests.
5% local tax will be invoices at time au check-out

Check-in and Check-out Policy

Check-in time is 3pm and check-out time is 12pm.
Should an early check-in or a late check-out be desired, an additional charge might apply.

Group Booking

Reservations of 5 rooms or more are subject to specific booking policies. For any group enquiry, kindly contact the hotel at sales@lebarth.com.

Payment Policy & Payment Methods (FESTIVE AND SPECIAL OFFERS EXCLUDING)

In order to ensure the security of the client’s bank data, a payment link will be sent for all payments in place of credit card authorizations form.
Payments can only be made in Euros to the bank account below and the proof of payment should be sent to the hotel:
Deposit
At time of booking, 10% of the total amount is due
10 days prior the arrival, the balance of the total amount is due
Note that Le Barthélemy Hotel & Spa is not responsible for additional bank fees for wire transfers or exchange rate fees.
In case of payment by credit card, payments can only be made in Euros by American Express, Visa and MasterCard.
All incidental charges and local taxes will be the responsibility of hotel Guests. Fees are payable upon departure and can be settled in cash (restrictions apply) or by credit card (American Express, Visa and MasterCard).
If a Guest does not have a credit card, a cash deposit will be required upon check-in.

Cancellation Policy (FESTIVE AND SPECIAL OFFERS EXCLUDING)

Le Barthélemy Hotel & Spa requires cancellations to be communicated in writing (by email).
Cancellations are only confirmed when the client receives a unique cancellation number from the Hotel.
Payments of any cancellation charges is the responsibility of the client.
Before 10 days = Free cancellation
From 10 days prior arrival = 100% is charged
For any refund, bank charges will be paid by the client

Modification Policy

Any changes to initial reservations, within the above periods, are upon approval by the Hotel and could result in additional charges.
In case of shortening a stay within the above periods, the cancelled nights will be charged.
Any unused nights (early departure or late arrival) during the stay will be invoiced.
In case of extending a stay, a surcharge might apply for certain or all nights.
After payment of the deposit in the above conditions Le Barthélemy Hotel & Spa cannot cancel the Guest’s reservation except in case of force majeure. The following instances are accepted cases of force majeure: fire, flood, storm, strikes (whether full or partial) or any cause that is outside the control of Le Barthélemy Hotel & Spa.

Covid-19 Clause

In case of inability to travel due to the Covid-19 situation, such as a lockdown, borders closing, flight cancellation preventing the guests from traveling, the hotel will offer a refund or a 12 months deposit rollover from the initial arrival date. New requests will be subject to availability.
Cancellation must be related to pandemic COVID 19 and based on a legal document.
Cancellation notice must be sent by email to reservations@lebarth.com

Non-arrival Policy (No show)

In case of non-arrival, the full stay will be charged.
Please note that if Guests do not check-in on their confirmed arrival day, it will be considered as a cancellation of the full stay and the Hotel will be free to resell the room.

Visa Requirements

Please check whether or not a Visa is needed.
It is the Guests’ responsibility to check whether or not a Visa is needed with the French Embassy and the latest law enforced for Visa requirements.
Any Guests arriving without proper documentation will not be able to stay on the island of Saint-Barthélemy.
Please note that no reimbursements will be made and that the full stay will be invoiced if Guests are not allowed to enter on the island.

Guest Insurance

Le Barthélemy Hotel & Spa recommends Guests obtain a travel insurance and a cancellation insurance to cover unforeseen events.

Liability

Sometimes accidents happen leading to breakages and/or damage during a Guest’s stay on property. Please notify the Hotel straightaway if such an event occurs. Le Barthélemy Hotel & Spa generally does not charge for minor breakages but if the damage or breakage is significant, the Hotel reserves the right to charge the Guests in full for the cost of making good that damage or breakage.

Smoking Policy

Le Barthélemy Hotel & Spa is committed providing Guests with smoke-free rooms. Please note that interiors are non-smoking; for Guests who would like to smoke, the Hotel invites them to smoke in the privacy of their outdoor area while keeping the terrace doors closed. The Hotel reserves the right to charge the Guests up to 500 Euros, to cover the cost of deep cleaning.

Guest Behavior

Guests are requested to conduct themselves appropriately at all times and to comply with the Hotel procedures and/or requests with regard to conduct and respect for the property of the Hotel, its employees and Guests and their health and safety. Guests are requested not to disrupt the comfort and enjoyment of other Guests, the smooth running of the Hotel, or cause offence to other Guests or our members of staff. Le Barthélemy Hotel & Spa reserves the right to refuse accommodation or services or to remove Guests from the Hotel if, in Le Barthélemy Hotel & Spa reasonable opinion, it considers this provision to have been breached. Where this is the case LE BARTHÉLEMY shall have no obligation to refund for lost accommodation, other services or any other loss or expense incurred.
The Hotel house rules are available at the Reception upon request.

Pet Policy

Le Barthélemy Hotel & Spa is pleased to host small and mid-sized dogs, larger sized dogs are upon request. Guests are kindly reminded they are responsible for any damage caused by their pets. The Hotel has a limited number of rooms allocated to Guests accompanied by dogs, please contact the Hotel at reservations@lebarth.com to reserve yours.
There is no restriction for service dogs.
A supplemental cleaning fee of 50 Euros per night, will apply and shall be specified on Guests reservation confirmation. Please note that the Hotel reserves the right to charge an additional cleaning fee if applicable.

Data Protection

Le Barthélemy Hotel & Spa is based in a French overseas territory (Guadeloupe) and complies with applicable laws in France which protect Guest’s personal information. TO assures L Le Barthélemy Hotel & Spa that it will respect French data protection law.

Applicable Law

This agreement shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of the French Republic and will be judged by the French court in Basse-Terre, Guadeloupe
