February 3rd, 2021
With each passing day, we find ourselves navigating new rulings that have the potential to impact your upcoming visit to St. Barths. This week, the French government announced a temporary closure of all its borders, including its overseas French territories. Under this new regulation, travel to France and its territories will be limited to “ compelling reasons” only, such as a medical situation, family emergency or professional engagement.
Please know that St. Barthelemy’s local government is currently engaging with French mainland authorities to discuss alternative guidelines for the semi-autonomous territory of St. Barths. We are following these negotiations closely and will share updates as they are confirmed.
We approach these new realities, always, with transparency and your safety in mind. As we await an update from local officials, please know that our team stands at the ready to welcome you back to Le Barthelemy where we are certain, brighter days are ahead.
Please contact us to advise on the status of your reservation arriving between February 2nd-February 15, as your ability to travel will now be subject to one of the above compelling reasons.
We stay at your entire disposal to discuss options including a rollover of your reservation within the next 12 months.
